Earlier in the year, Alteran Labs was closed down due to a lack of activity. But after some discussion and thought, we decided it would be worth a shot bringing the Labs back. With the third stargate franchise soon to begin, we decided now was a good time to bring the site back.

As you may have already noticed, we are not running on vBulletin, it is weird to see Alteran Labs running with anything other than vBulletin, but our old license was handed over to SGC-Clan.com a Stargate Gmod 10 clan. So for now we are using WoltLab Burning Boards for the new community. [/font]


[font='Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif']We are looking forward to getting Alteran Labs back to the way it used to be with a vivid community and simply being a good place to come hang out. So make sure you tell everyone that we are back and feel free to post what ever you would wish to. As for the current moment, Myself and Alteran Ancient are the only Moderators / Administrators and there are no set rules which means the site will be running off a Martial Law kind of state, where we will moderate topics and users as we see fit.

When the time comes that we need extra staff members we will approach members we feel are worthy of the position, so if you would like the chance to become a staff member, be active, be positive, help the site become something great. But please don’t beg us for a position on staff.

One last note is that we hope to bring vBulletin back to Alteran Labs, but vBulletin costs, and we would be appreciative of any Donation you would wish to give us. Simply contact Alteran Ancient via PM for payment details. Your donations will help us make Alteran Labs great once more, and it will also give you a shiney little Gold Member / VIP / Moderator status. I'm back! Hope I didn't miss anything while I was gone

Noticed how the creator of a thread has all his posts highlighted orange?

I noticed that, along with the new forum software. It looks nice really, I just noticed that the post box seems to want to erase all of my text until it's fully loaded. Not a problem, comes up pretty quick.

This forum system definitly takes a bit of getting used to. I think I have the majority of it all down which is good. But I cant wait till we get some $$ for a vBull

Speaking of us being back, how many of us have worked on trying to bring some community back together? I let Kyle know a little while ago, so I'm wondering if he forgot to show up at all.

I've let a few people know about the site being back, but your the only one thats turned up so far smitthy boy

i think we need a project for pepople to participate in to try and draw them to us.

Think we can get Kyle off his 360 for a while? I'd like to see him here helping us!

Kyle's actually been playing Team Fortress 2 lately, and there's talk that me, him and another friend are going to set up a server for Team Fortress 2. You can always catch him on Steam if you ever get the chance Alteran.
